Flanges EN 1092-1

Beitrag von boomshakalaka »

Is there any plans to include the flanges in EN 1092-1 Annex I (fixed inside diameter) in Rohr2?
If not, is it possible that rohr2 could be updated with a remapping of the flange dimensions against the outer diameter of the pipe?
For example, it is not possible to put a weldneck flange on a pipe 104x2. It makes it a DN80 flange.

I made my own database for the old Rohr2 version, see attached file

Hello,

yes this is planned and on our todo-List. A possible work-around till then would be defining special "standard dimensions" for the pipe sections of the flanges. A quicker way than doing it manually would be via the "list data" function:
  • Ener any flanges at the desired location
  • Open the "list-data" function and go to flange connections (not flanges)
  • Mark all the flanges you want to change in the list and then click the "select" button. Like this all sections will be selected. You can filter by different dimensions as well here
  • Now create a new "standard outside-fixes dimension" and asign the selected elements to this
With this procedure you can at least map your flanges to the normal flange dimensions. Another solution will be availible shortly/not too long in the future: We will implement the possibility of defining and managing user defined flanges with a programm update within the 34.1. Like this you will be able to create your flanges by yourself, till we extend the database.

Best regards
