Hello, I am trying to model a vesse cone to pipe intersection on Rohr2 FESU but it is showing the error "Intersection I1 cannot be closed because there is not enough space on the jacket. Extend jacket or reduce factor for intersection area on jacket (FBals < 1, n6 = 0)".
I have tried changing the parameteres, but still having the same error.

Re: Vesse cone to pipe mesh error
Hello,
There could be several reasons. It is difficult to say without a model.
But perhaps the intersection cannot be closed because the superelement has a too large diameter to cut into the jacket.
Other reasons could be that the superelement is displaced in relation to the jacket and therefore cannot be intersected.
It could also be that the intersection is too close to the edge of the jacket or to another intersection so that no intersection zone can be formed.
There are also other reasons why the intersection cannot be closed, but they all have the reason that there is not enough space on the jacket for an intersection.
As a tip, you can model the superelements individually, without intersection. Then you can usually see why the intersection cannot be created.
Remember that shell elements are shown here which lie in the middle of the wall.
I hope I was able to help you, otherwise please send the model to give you a more accurate answer.

Re: Vesse cone to pipe mesh error
Thank you! I was inverting the superelement and jacket, that was the reason.
