Equal tee i fesus

Hi
I have a equal tee (non standard) that try to make a fesus model for that. But As it seen in following figures, I can just create small element on the connection between two of the branches and can not get a better model which can show stress concentration on both branches. Is there any method that I can have small element on both branches?

Hello,

for Y-tees it is important that the nodes at the connection point are exactly matching to get a proper mesh.

To get a more fine mesh at the mitre you can make use of the progression feature. Click on the desired Superelement (in this example S5) then on progression and choose a progression factor and a pattern. For better control I seperated each of the three superelements of the Y-tee into half.

And the final mesh:

If you have any further questions do not hesitate to ask.
