Hi
I have -1bar as a vaccum pressure (Minimum calculation pressure ) in piping system and just wondering how should I check the buckling in the system.
Should I perform an igenbuckling or vi can do some thing else?
Best regards

Re: Vaccum Pressure
Hi,
you can do a simply buckling analysis with the internal pressure analysis module ROHR2press. If you define a negativ calculation pressure in your pipe dimension, ROHR2 will do the analysis:
You won't be able to design reinforcement rings or so (For this you could use our solution "PROBAD"), but you will get the buckling length and can see if it might be relevant.
