Beitrag von r2user_0209 »

Hi ROHR2 Support

I just installed the ROHR2 Version 321.
When I try to start it, ROHR2 pops up and crashed immediately
with the following message

What is going wrong?

Best regards

Hello

this error is caused by a bug in the Microsoft Runtime Libraries for Visual Studio 2015, version 14.0.24210.0.
(this is not the current version, normally these libraries are updated automatically via the Windows Update)

The installed version of the Microsoft Runtime Libraries can be checked in the registry:
- for 32bit operating systems: "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\VisualStudio\14.0\VC\Runtimes\x86\Version"
- for 64bit operating systems: "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\VisualStudio\14.0\VC\Runtimes\x64\Version"

If the version 14.0.24210.0 is installed these libraries have to be updated!

The setup program of the current version of the Microsoft Runtime Libraries can be downloaded here:
www.rohr2.de/public/vc_redist_x86.zip
Installation:
- copy the data from vc_redist_x86.zip into a directory on the computer
- run vc_redist.x86.exe in this directory to install the libraries

After the installation of current version of the libraries ROHR2 32.1 should start without problems.

Best regards

The newer Versions of ROHR2 will not crash but display the message
runtimelibrary.PNG
The solution is the same as above.

Best regards
